“This Is Us” is notorious for making us cry. Every single episode.

The show, which just started its second season, focuses on the story of a family going through normal family things. They deal with the death of their father, losing weight, losing their job, and meeting their birth father—all while struggling with normal family issues.

The show first premiered on September 20, 2016. Before the end of the first season, the show had already been renewed for two more seasons.

“This Is Us” is known for making its fans cry. Even more than that, though, Ventimiglia shared with Jimmy Fallon about how the show even makes its crew members cry. Check out the video here.

In its first season, the “This Is Us” cast released a video apologizing for all of the emotions and tears. Although in the end, they don’t actually. They say, “Life is complicated, parents make mistakes, and siblings don’t always see eye to eye...bottom line? This is us.”

Another must-see video that “This Is Us” fans have to watch was released on Jimmy Fallon the same day as season 2’s premiere. This skit shows the actors trying to read their lines while their crew person sobs on the side. In the end, they all end up sobbing, just like we do every time we watch the show. Check it out here.

The show stars Milo Ventimiglia, Mandy Moore, Chrissy Metz, Sterling K. Brown, and Justin Hartley. If you haven’t yet seen season 1, you can watch it on Hulu or NBC.
