For years, Coca-Cola has been known for their cute polar bears romping around in the snow commercials. Many of us look forward to them around the holidays, and many of us look forward to their cute, holiday cans.
It turns out that Coca-Cola has been up to something the past two years. In 2016 and 2017, they have had hidden images on their limited-edition cans. Can you spot them?
Look closely as they are hard to see at first glance. But once you take your time scanning the can and find it, you can't unsee it!
A Reddit user, sunkist268, made the observation. The bears' eyes are actually bottle caps, and their snouts' shine is formed like Coca-Cola bottles.
For many viewers, this comes to a shock! What about you? Have you ever noticed?
“Omg, I literally had to zoom in, but when I did I experienced the magic of Christmas,” one viewer replied.
“This year, we wanted to keep the same look and personality while creating a more graphic illustration style that would be easy to print around the world,” Frederic Kahn, Coca-Cola's design director, told TODAY. “We also wanted to embed signature Coca-Cola elements so the Coca-Cola polar bears could immediately be recognizable as our asset.”
As for another fun fact, Kahn adds, “When the bears are seen from the side, several have Coca-Cola dynamic ribbons as mouths, and we have some bears holding and drinking Coca-Cola from the contour bottle."
Now share this newfound information with all your Coca-Cola friends! Or with fans that love to search for fun, hidden images! In related news, very few can find the sixth word in these pictures! Can you be one of the few?
