As we all know, our favorite HGTV show, "Fixer Upper," is coming to an end all too fast, but that still doesn't seem to slow down Chip and Joanna Gaines from doing other things.
For example, the Gaineses recently teamed up with former first lady, Laura Bush. The Texas friends worked together to renovate a home for one of the Bushs’ friends, Jimmy Don Holmes, a metal artist. Holmes had a budget of $70,000, and the Gaineses transformed his tiny, outdated home into a mountain dream home.
In another episode, Chip and Joanna reeled in pro-athlete, Tim Tebow to do some good for a family within the Tim Tebow Foundation. The Copp family was in need of a wheelchair accessible home and Chip and Joanna were more than happy to help.
"The Copps have two young boys in wheelchairs, and they've always wanted a home that allows the boys freedom to move in the space and handle daily tasks on their own," a statement said.
In some featured photos of the upcoming episode, we can see former NFL quarterback and current New York Mets outfielder showing the young brothers some of the renovations. The boys even have an accessible game area for the brothers to play in. You don’t want to miss this episode! You can watch it on January 30.
“We are really, really proud of season 5,” the couple said. “We laid it all on the field and didn’t hold anything back. We think it’s the perfect finale to this amazing journey we’ve been on.”
“We will forever be thankful for HGTV and this opportunity of a lifetime,” they added. “We are grateful for them and for you. Thank you for sharing life with us and for the continued support.”
