We all know what Diet Coke looks like. The silver cans and red writing are easy to recognize. However, the diet brand recently announced a lot of changes for their sodas.
The drink is going to be getting a makeover. Coca-Cola announced this week that there will be a new look for the brand. The soda cans will still come in the classic silver and red cans, but the cans are going to look a little different.
The cans will no longer be the short ones that we’re used to, instead, they'll be a taller, slimmer version. According to James Sommerville, the vice-president of Coca-Cola Global Design, the new look is “a Coca-Cola red disc that has gone for a walk.”
In addition to the new can design, Diet Coke is releasing four new flavors of the soda. The research and development team tested over 30 flavors before settling on the final four.
The four new flavors are Ginger Lime, Twisted Mango, Zesty Blood Orange, and Feisty Cherry. So if you’re a fan of Moscow Mules, Cherry Coke, or any other tropical, fruity drinks, Diet Coke is ready for you.
The flavors might sound a little weird, but people who have tried it seem to like it. Check out this video of people testing out the new flavors.
These new flavors and cans will be rolling out over the next month or so. We’re looking forward to testing out some of these.
