There are more than 550,000 dishwashers being recalled due to their power cords overheating and catching fire.

Fires have happened in at least five homes already, but thankfully, no injuries have been reported.

The dishwasher brands are Bosch, Gaggenau, Jenn-Air, and Thermador. These appliances were sold in stainless steel, black, white, and custom panel. Below are the model and serial numbers:

To verify if your dishwasher is part of the recall, check the model and serial numbers which are located on the inside of the dishwasher — either on top of the inner door panel or on the side of the dishwasher's panel.
