Tara Carter and her husband Chris and their son were all in the car heading home from grocery shopping. It wasn't until Chris saw something outside, he decided to stop the car.
"Take the food and come back and get me," Chris told Tara.
When he said that to her, she was awfully confused. Why would he get out of the car and ask that they head home? Tara obliged and hopped into the driver seat and took their son home.
"I didn't know what he had seen but said ok," Tara writes on her Facebook post.
As Tara turned the car around to see what Chris was up to, she was shocked. What he was doing warmed Tara's heart and confirmed, even more, she married the right man.
"We pull up and Chris takes the push mower from this elderly gentleman," she wrote. Chris noticed an elderly man struggling with his lawn mower and offered to finish the rest of the lawn.
"I pray that my son learns from this and randomly helps people do things like his father does," Tara wrote.

What a great saying: "It's free to be kind." It would be great if more people thought this and lived by it. Share if you agree and if you enjoyed this positive story! In other news, while a police officer was being assaulted by three criminals, he pushed a button and his K9 partner came to the rescue! Do you think this dog is a hero?
