For some families, hunting is a necessary activity in order to survive. But some animal activists believe it's an unnecessary hobby.
Other's say that this activity is no place for a 7-year-old girl. It's all a matter of opinion, really. We can all agree that we hope the parents are strictly involved, implement proper training, and a provide a safe environment before any trigger is pulled.
Lilly Klapper's father, Cody, has been training his daughter to shoot guns for the past two years. Over the course of her training, he felt that she was ready to venture out into the wild and see how well she did.
In the extended-length video, the young girl is extremely focused and patient while holding an AR-15 rifle, which appears to be twice her size. She has no urgency in shooting the gun, which appears to be a skill her father established early on in her training.
After she pulls the trigger and successfully shoots her first deer, her reaction was priceless. Her father was overjoyed by her new milestone and was thrilled to have got it on camera.
