Who doesn't love a terrible infomercial? They're practically as good as reality TV. Why can't you just change the channel? Simple, you can't! It's like they have some magical power over you!
Infomercials have been around for a very long time. They became popular in the 1980s, but it is believed that the first infomercial was aired in the late 1940s for a Vitamix blender. Many of the early 1980s infomercials were products for hair restoration and growth treatment. Over the past few decades, there have been some interesting products. Let's take a look at the top seven most ridiculous!
7. The Fat Magnet
In theory, the device will magnetically pick up fat or grease and remove the fat before it's consumed. I didn't know meat fat had magnets in it. That's a new one for me! Check out the infomercial below:
