On Thursday, eight women told "CNN" that they were inappropriately touched by Morgan Freeman and that he had made suggestive comments about their appearance.
A young production assistant told "CNN" that in the summer of 2015 she landed her dream job with the movie "Going In Style" starring Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, and Alan Arkin.
However, the job took a sour turn. She had been harassed for months by Freeman. She said that he would touch her inappropriately and make comments about her body and clothes.
She claimed that in one incident, Freeman "kept trying to lift up my skirt and asking if I was wearing underwear."
She said that he never lifted up her skirt. However, he would touch it and try to lift it up. She said she moved out of the way, but Freeman tried again.
"Alan [Arkin] made a comment telling him to stop. Morgan got freaked out and didn't know what to say," the assistant said.
Other women have claimed that the 80-year-old actor had sexually harassed them as well. A senior staff member of the production team said that on the set of "Now You See Me" in 2012, Freeman would show inappropriate behavior.

Freeman has released a statement Thursday saying, "Anyone who knows me or has worked with me knows I am not someone who would intentionally offend or knowingly make anyone feel uneasy. I apologize to anyone who felt uncomfortable or disrespected, that was never my intent."
This is a developing story as the allegations are currently being investigated.
