Mickey Jones, best known for his acting roles in "Home Improvement" and "Justified," has passed away Wednesday at age 76.
"Mickey Jones died at 2:17 a.m. today of the effects of a long illness,” his representative Cherry Hepburn told Fox News.
The actor has been in and out of the hospital for the past few months and it still unclear as to what illness he was battling.
Mickey has been working in the entertainment world for nearly three decades. He is easily recognized for his long beard and burly manner, typically playing tough men in films. TMZ described him as, "that guy" you would see in popular shows.
Mickey had roles in "M.A.S.H.," "Bones," "Tin Cup," "Total Recall," and many more. With his role in "Home Improvement," he and the K&B Construction Boys would play music with tools during the "Tool Time" show. Check it out below.
