There has been some devastating news that has come in from over the weekend. A television star revealed the heartbreaking news of losing her ex-fiance and the father to her only son.
Angela Simmons is mourning the loss of her ex-fiance who was fatally shot Saturday night.
On Saturday, November 10, shortly after 5 p.m., Atlanta police officers were responding to a 9-1-1 call of a report of a gun being fired multiple times.
When the police arrived, they discovered Sutton Tennyson with multiple gunshot wounds inside an open garage. According to police, the investigation found that the shots were fired after a conversation with another male had escalated.
“Preliminary information indicates the victim had been talking in the driveway with another man, when the conversation escalated and the suspect shot the victim multiple times,” Officer Jarius Daugherty told "Us Weekly." “The death is being investigated by the Atlanta Police Department’s homicide unit.”
Simmons is the daughter of Run D.M.C's Rev. Run and had starred on the show, "Growing Up Hip Hop." Simmons and Tennyson got engaged in April 2016, and had welcomed their first child together five months later. In December 2017, Simmons announced their breakup on Instagram.
Simmons took to Instagram a day after his death paying tribute to the father of her son. She shared videos and pictures with their 2-year-old son, Sutton Joseph.
