In Latest Bit Of Anti-Trump Craziness, Dem Congressman Calls For Outright Ban on 'Hateful' MAGA Hats; Shouldn’t Someone Tell Him He’s Being Suckered?

The systematic suppression of individual freedom in this country has just taken another giant step toward outright tyranny.

This time, it is manifested in one California restaurant whose owner has gone on social media to announce that he will no longer serve customers who choose to wear MAGA hats. Now, personally, I think it's bad manners for any guy to wear a hat indoors, period. But that's beside the point where the current discussion is concerned.

My point being: If a restaurant (or any business, for that matter) allows the wearing of hats by males inside its walls, then banning one particular hat that just so happens to proclaim a well-known conservative, pro-American slogan is nothing short of outright discrimination.

“It hasn’t happened yet, but if you come to my restaurant wearing a #MAGA cap, you aren’t getting served, same as if you come in wearing a swastika, white hood, or any other symbol of intolerance and hate."

Okay. Well, you might have a point if you would say that a private business has the right to decide whom to serve and not serve, but when a politician serving in the U.S. Congress follows up with an even more restrictive stance, then you're talking fascism.

Rep. John Yarmuth is one liberal politician who’s buying into the ridiculous narrative that wearing the hat constitutes ‘hate’ and he's calling for a nationwide ban on the popular topper.

“I am calling for a total and complete shutdown of teenagers wearing MAGA hats until we can figure out what is going on. They seem to be poisoning young minds.”

Joe Walsh, popular social media influencer also has something to say about Congressman Yarmuth’s outrageous suggestion:

“A Member of Congress calling for...what exactly is he calling for? A ban on teenagers wearing MAGA hats?

“You might want to take another look at what happened Congressman. You might want to take this tweet back.”

Walsh is, of course, referring to the recent revelation that the whole Jussie Smollett ‘attack’ story was likely nothing more than a hoax. Kinda like the whole Covington Catholic debacle.

Others think it’s a pretty good idea, obviously responding after having been triggered by the popular red hats with white lettering.

“You wear a MAGA hat = your support for the Muslim ban, denying people health care, and separating families. You don’t have to chant ‘build that wall’ your hat says it for you.

But the Trump supporters seem to outweigh the detractors, and think the whole outrage over an innocent cap is proof pos widespread derangement over this President.

“Idiots in this country. You Democrat’s are all stupid trying to ban hats like it’s a priority rn . Just shut up all of you know nothing and if trump wasn’t president this country would fall🤦🏼‍♂️. His numbers don’t lie best president ever !!! #MAGA”

And maybe the best one of all - a savage rebuttal to claim that the red cap is equal to a KKK hood:

“The Red MAGA hat is really the new kkk hoodie replacement. How do you call black men wearing the Red MAGA hat? Blackklansmen? I wonder.“

“It hasn’t happened yet, but if you come to my restaurant wearing a #MAGA cap, you aren’t getting served, same as if you come in wearing a swastika, white hood, or any other symbol of intolerance and hate,"

YIKES!!

If you're not alarmed by this step-by-step move toward oppression of individual freedom in this country then don't be surprised when you wake up one morning and realize you are living in a fascist nation. And even if your point of view is currently being allowed, or even promoted, it doesn't mean yours won't be next.
