Lately, Barron Trump has been staying out of the spotlight. It's probably for good measure, though, that the children of the current president stay out of the public's eye as much as possible.

Just after Inauguration Day last year, rather than poking fun at Donald Trump, several people went after his son. Attacking an innocent child is not acceptable regardless of who their father is.

Unfortunately, to this day, Barron has still received nasty comments by people hiding behind their computers. It's likely that we haven't seen Barron much lately is due to the fact that people will poke at anything and will continue to cyber bully the poor child.

It's been discovered that Barron has actually made history. No other presidential child has ever done what Barron just did. Both Melania and Donald Trump decided to do something different with their child's education.

Over the past 35 years, every president has had their children attend Sidwell Friends School. This school is a Quaker school located in Bethesda, Maryland and in Washington D.C. It was founded in 1883 by Thomas Sidwell.

However, Mr. and Mrs. Trump has decided to go with a different school for their son. This makes him the first presidential child to go to a different school.

He is attending St. Andrew's Episcopal in Potomac, Maryland.

"We are very excited for our son to attend St. Andrew's Episcopal School," the first lady said. "It is known for its diverse community and commitment to academic excellence. The mission of St. Andrew's is 'to know and inspire each child in an inclusive community dedicated to exceptional teaching, learning, and service,' all of which appealed to our family. We look forward to the coming school years at St. Andrew's."

This school has 580 students in its preschool through twelfth-grade classes. A very small, intimate school allows for a 7:1 student-to-teacher ratio, compared to other local public schools at approximately 30:1 student-to-teacher ratio.

According to the school's website, the tuition for grades six through eight (middle school) is $39,790.

What do you think about Barron being the first presidential child to go to a different school? Let us know! We'd love to hear your thoughts.
