Duane ‘Dog’ Chapman has made a heartbreaking announcement about the health of his beloved Beth after an emergency has left his wife in a coma and fighting for her life.
Fans know that the ‘Dog the Bounty Hunter’ star’s wife has been in a fierce battle with throat cancer for the past few years, and this latest incident has left her helpless in the ICU.
TMZ reports, “Beth Chapman is in desperate shape ... in a medically-induced coma at a hospital in Hawaii, and her husband, Duane ‘Dog’ Chapman, is asking people to pray for her.”
“Please say your prayers for Beth right now thank you love you”
In his full statement, Duane Chapman said he and his family “humbly ask everyone to please pray for Beth."
Duane and the rest of Beth’s family also thanked their supporters: "sincere thanks to everyone for their prayers throughout Beth’s battle with cancer.”
Beth has been battling cancer for years and underwent successful surgery in 2017. But, late last year, she received the news that her cancer had returned, and required emergency surgery to remove a tumor that was interfering with her ability to eat and breath.
She subsequently underwent “aggressive” chemotherapy.
Then over the weekend, Beth had a scary incident that sent her to the emergency room.
“Sources tell TMZ that a 911 call came in Saturday morning from Beth and Dog's Honolulu residence, which was reported as a ‘choking’ emergency.
“We're told Beth was rushed to a nearby hospital and has been there ever since. Family sources tell us the choking was in relation to Beth having breathing trouble from her throat cancer.”
This is the second such emergency Beth has experienced; the first was in April from which she was able to recover.
"Our sources say Beth is still a coma at the moment. Members of her family -- including her daughter, Bonnie -- are en route to be by her side."
Won't you add your prayers to those of the thousands of fans who are desperately hoping for a miraculous recovery from her ordeal?
