The iconic Bush family recently lost a dear family member. William Henry Trotter Bush, who was a successful investor and brother to George H.W. Bush and uncle to George W. Bush, has died at age 79.
Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush emailed "The Associated Press" Thursday to confirm the passing of Bush, also known as "Bucky," of his Wednesday death. At this time, the cause of death was not disclosed.
Bush, who was active in Republican politics, was the co-founder and chairman of Bush O'Donnell Investment Advisers in St. Louis, Missouri. He served on several boards of multiple corporations and foundations, such as Anthem, which is the parent company of Blue Cross and Blue Shield.
“Bucky Bush was a strong leader and champion for the state of Missouri," Chairman Todd Graves of the Missouri Republican Party said.
