A grieving 23-year-old mother recently lost her baby. She was depressed and mourning over her loss. Losing a baby is a terrible thing, and no mother should have to go through that.

However, what she did next crossed the line. The woman, Yekaterina (her last name is unknown), had allegedly stolen a newborn baby from a hospital in Russia.

The hospital's video surveillance had captured her coming into the hospital without a baby, then exiting with a baby. The stolen infant was a premature baby that was on feeding tubes. The woman had to have disconnected those feeding tubes in order to walk out.

Yekaterina, who was a medical student at the hospital, returned home and told her family what she had done. Fortunately, her family knew the difference between right and wrong, so they called the police.

The mother of the baby was discharged from the hospital just hours before the kidnapping. She had to leave the baby at the hospital because the baby was premature and needed critical medical attention.

Reports have shown that the woman had apparently taken a picture with the baby and posted it to her social media sites saying, "Everything will be cool!"
