"Star Trek" actress Celeste Yarnall has passed away. According to "StarTrek.com," she passed away in her home in Westlake Village, California on Sunday, October 7 from ovarian cancer. She was 74 years old.
Yarnall guest started on "Star Trek" as Martha Landon, who was Chekov's love interest in the original series.
Yarnall "succumbed to ovarian cancer on October 7 after a brave four-year battle with the disease," the fan site reported, adding that she was surrounded by family.
With 54 credits to her name, Yarnall can be seen in television shows and films, such as, "The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet," "Land of the Giants," "The Nutty Professor," "The Man From U.N.C.L.E," "Columbo," and many more.
