A lot was happening in the Kelsey Berreth disappearance case while we were all celebrating Christmas with our families and friends. Unfortunately, the news coming out of Colorado is not pleasant.
On the heels of the blockbuster arrest of the missing Colorado mom’s fiancé, Patrick Frazee, prosecutors have revealed that there is a lot more to this case than the public originally believed.
Two theories are being proposed as to what happened to Kelsey after she was last seen on Thanksgiving Day. Video surveillance reveals that she made a stop at a local grocery store and was never seen again.
Now we are learning that her fiancé, Patrick Frazee who is the father of Kelsey’s one-year-old daughter, may have conspired to have her killed.
According to the Daily Mail, “This was all revealed as her fiancé Patrick Frazee, who was arraigned on five counts relating to her murder.
“He is charged with two counts of first-degree murder under the separate theories and three counts of solicitation to commit first-degree murder.
“This means that Frazee may have asked an individual to kill his fiancée on three separate occasions.”
“The charges listed on the court papers also say Frazee, possibly along with at least one other person, allegedly tried to rob Berreth and she was killed afterward.”
There are reports that Kelsey's cell phone has been found and authorities are hoping that it will reveal more information about the young mom's final moments.
No further details were revealed at the arraignment, as authorities stress the importance of keeping as much information as possible out of the public eye in order for the case to unfold properly.
No body has been found yet, but prosecutors believe they have enough evidence to move forward without it.
One family member reported that the couple had split up on the day Kelsey disappeared, but that report has not been substantiated at this time.
Custody of Kaylee, the couple’s young daughter, has been awarded to Kelsey’s parents on a temporary basis. Frazee’s mother is said to be contesting that order.
Please join us in continuing to pray for all those mourning today for the loss of this beautiful young woman and for the little girl who will grow up with such a tragic legacy.
