Chip Gaines Gets Body Slammed By 6-Foot-9, 205 Pound Athlete — His Reaction Was Priceless

March 13, 2018

Back in December, HGTV's "Fixer Upper" star, Chip Gaines, was at a Baylor basketball game. While he was enjoying his time with friends, suddenly a large 6-foot-9, 205-pound basketball player comes barreling toward him.

Chip was courtside watching his home team, the Baylor Bears, take on Wichita State. When the Baylor forward, Nuni Omot, was trying to save a ball from going out of bounds, he collided with Chip.

While Chip did take the brunt of the hit, he reacted like we assumed he would. It was a classic Chip move, and it is all the more reason why we love him and Joanna so much.

Take a look below!

After the referee gets Omot off Chip, Chip quickly stands up, proving to the crowd that he was alright. Then he yells, waving his hands to get the Baylor fans pumped back up.

Sadly, for the Baylor's, this was their only highlight of the game. The Bears lost 69-62 to Wichita State.
