Chip Gaines has recently let his hair match his personality: it’s gone a little crazy. Though Chip and Joanna have announced that they’ll be ending their show after this season, we know that they’ll continue to do everything they can to help those around them.
Soon, though that long hair and shaggy beard may disappear. He recently announced that he would cut his hair—and anyone can decide exactly how short.
Chip posted a photo to his Instagram page. The photo stated, “Fine, I’ll cut my hair if you…” His comment said, “Alright, fine. I’ll cut my hair. But first...it’s time to put your money where your mouth is.”
The next day, Chip added a few more details. He posted a photo of himself with his long shaggy hair. The comment stated, “It’s come to my attention that most of you hate my current hairstyle. But now MUCH do you hate it? Now’s the time to put your money where your mouth is.”
Chip encouraged his fans to donate to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital through a link on his website. He committed to cut his hair depending on how much was donated. The more money that people donated, the more hair he would cut off.
Chip even shared, “Who knows, maybe if you really exceed my expectations...I’ll buzz it all off.” Check out the website here to donate.
Regardless of how short he cuts his hair, we’ll have to deal with it through their last season of “Fixer Upper.” They just finished filming their final episode of the show last week.
