The popular HGTV hit show, "Flip or Flop," has been a successful show for the past five years. Unfortunately, things took a turn in  January 2017 when the couple who hosted the show decided to call it quits with their seven-year marriage.

Christina and Tarek El Moussa announced their divorce back in December 2016, but this tension left their fans concerned if their show would end. Despite the drama, the two have decided to keep moving forward with "Flip or Flop."

The exes' first show of the season follows their divorce and airs on May 31. In an exclusive first look with "People," Christina and Tarek share a brief video of what the show as exes is going to be like.

“When our marriage fell apart, it was more public than we could ever have imagined,” Christina said in the video.

“But we’re picking up the pieces, and we’ll still work together to support our kids," Tarek adds. The exes have two children together; Taylor, 7, and Brayden, 2.

In the opening scene, they air their dirty laundry and clear the air of what the viewers are going to expect. They stand strong in the fact that their children come first, and working together to show their kids that is what's most important to them.

While the two have gone their separate ways, they do share some personal information as far as their current love lives. Both Christina and Tarek have been enjoying the dating scene. Christina is currently dating an English TV presenter, Ant Anstead.

Tarek revealed in the video that he could not meet up with Christina due to the fact that he is headed to meet a woman for a date.

“What does she look like?” Christina asks. Tarek reveals her height and hair color, which is blonde. This prompts Christina to joke, “I thought you didn’t like blondes anymore.”

The two have decided to keep their personal lives clean and appropriate for their viewers. Tarek later explains that they are "both trying to get back into the dating scene."

“This would probably be awkward for any exes, but since we have to see each other every day it’s beyond awkward,” Christina said. “So I’m planning on staying friendly and keeping things light.”
