It’s been five years since the HGTV hit series “Fixer Upper” first appeared on television. In that span, the home renovation couple of Chip and Joanna Gaines have accomplished quite a lot.

Their “Fixer Upper” empire includes books, a restaurant, a line at Target, and more. Not only is their business booming, but so is their family, with a fifth child on the way this year.

Today is a big day for the couple–it’s Joanna’s 40th birthday!

The pair met in 2001 when Chip made a stop at Joanna’s father’s Firestone Tire store in Waco, Texas. She was 23 and Chip was 27. Even though they both went to Baylor University, they never met until this moment.

Chip and Joanna were married just two years after they met in 2003. 15 years and four, soon-to-be five kids later, the pair are still going strong and showing no signs of stopping.

Happy Birthday, Joanna!
