Report: 3 Children Have Been Kidnapped From Their Home; Police Asking For Public's Help

Police are asking for the public's help as they continue to search for three missing children. Local authorities have issued a missing child alert for all three children.

Police officials said that 6-year-old Jeremy Simonds, 6-year-old Justin Simonds, and 1-year-old Christopher Christy were taken from their home, according to the local news channel, WFTV9. Police believe the young children are in the hands of 24-year-old Shannon Adams and 29-year-old Christopher Christy Sr.


Justin and Jeremy have brown eyes and long brown hair that is usually tied back in a ponytail. Christopher has short blonde hair and has blue eyes.

Christy Sr. is 5 feet 7 inches tall, has brown hair and has blue eyes. Adams is 5 feet 1 inches tall, has brown hair and brown eyes.

Christy Sr. has multiple tattoos, including the letter "C" on both of his arms. The words "Turn 'Em Out" is tattooed on his left hand and he has a star on his right arm.


The Florida Department of Law Enforcement the children were last seen Tuesday, August 14 in the area of 35000 block of Cook Avenue in Dad City, Florida. Their current location is unknown and the group could be in a different state.


Police believe that the group is traveling in a cream-colored 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser. The front of the vehicle is painted blue. The license plates on the car have Florida tags with the number 663HB.
