They say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but that doesn’t mean that we eat it every day. In fact, according to a recent study, around 31 million Americans skip breakfast every day.

It’s easy to understand why so many people skip breakfast. Whether you want to sleep in as late as possible or you’re busy getting the kids ready for school, it’s easy to neglect the first meal of the day. Check out these fast, prep-ahead options for an easy, on-the-go breakfast.

Oats are always a good, healthy option for fast breakfasts. The night before, put dry oats, almond milk, peanut butter, and any other toppings you want in a jar. In the morning, pull it out of the fridge and the oats will be perfectly softened and delicious!

You can prepare egg muffins on the weekend, store them in the fridge, and have the perfect grab-and-go meal for weekdays. Eggs, vegetables, and meat make an awesome, protein-packed breakfast.

This takes a little work the night before, but it will be worth it when you wake up to the glorious smells of sausage and eggs. Even better, you can keep the leftovers in the fridge so you have breakfast for the rest of the week!
