Grammy Award Winner's Performance of the National Anthem Leaves Audience in Shock

February 19, 2018

Grammy Award winner, Fergie, was invited to sing the National Anthem at the NBA All-Star game on Sunday evening. The former "Black Eyed Peas" singer appeared to have a rough night, to say the least.

Fergie's rendition of the beloved "Star-Spangled Banner" had a definite twist to it. Her notes, well, there were a lot of them. Naturally, people had a field day on all social media platforms, especially Twitter.

It appears that the first six seconds of her singing, you'd think it was going to be a normal rendition. But keep listening — things change. Things definitely change!

Check out her performance here and tell us what you think!

I don't know about you, but I'm pretty sure Simon Cowell would hit the red "X" button if she was on “America’s Got Talent” after the first six seconds.

Another video (below) shows how the basketball players felt about her performance. Check them out below. It's almost one of those "Don't Laugh Challenges" and most of us lost already.
