Amid all the hateful words coming out of the U.S. from her immediate family, Duchess Meghan has had limited support as she struggles to withstand the vitriol coming from the likes of her half-sister, half-brother, and father. Aside from hubby Prince Harry, Meghan is quite alone in her misery.
Now, as was predicted at the time of the May 19th royal wedding, it appears that mother-of-the-bride Doria Ragland is making good on her promise to relocate to the U.K. And her timing could not be better.
As the crisis over her ex-husband Thomas Markle Sr.’s recent interviews comes to a head, Doria's maternal instincts have kicked in and are sending her in the direction of her floundering daughter.
Glamour reports, “According to the Sunday Express, Ragland is planning to move to Britain just in time for her sixty-second birthday to be closer to Markle. Sources tell the Sunday Express that the move could happen as early as next month—and that Ragland is reportedly completely stoked.
"She fell in love with England and told me when she got back that it’s somewhere she believes she too could happily live," a source told the Sunday Express. "I think this has been coming for a while.
"Even before the wedding, she told me how she misses her Megs so much she would do anything to be closer to her, especially now Meghan will be starting a family of her own."
With her entire family seemingly against her, it will be wonderful for Meghan to have her beloved mother by her side as she rides the waves of the ongoing tension. And now that Baby Sussex is on the way, Doria can't get there soon enough!
“Still much in her daughter's life, Doria has already started to prepare for her departure to London after she quit her job as a social worker for the Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services clinic in Culver City, Los Angeles, in May.”
Meghan must be beside herself with happiness as she looks forward to having a piece of home with her as she adjusts to her new and intimidating life as a member of the Royal Family. Sometimes, you just want your mom…
