Police in Austin, Texas are conducting a widespread search for a young girl who disappeared without a trace in the middle of the night on Sunday.
According to local news reports, 13-year-old Jalyn Ramirez was last seen around 11:30 pm in East Austin. Police do not suspect foul play at this time.
Investigators are currently working on the assumption that the young teen ran away from home, but emphasize that she may still be in danger.
"Hey Austin! Have you seen Jalyn Ramirez? She was last seen wearing an orange tank top and denim shorts around 1130PM off of Signal Point. She is 13 y/o, 5’4”, 110lbs. Call 911 if you have any info!"
It is not safe for such a young girl to be out alone at that time of night and police are asking for the public’s help in trying to track down the girl.
Jalyn’s family is extremely worried about her well-being and are begging for assistance from anyone who may have seen their daughter after 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 23rd.
“Jalyn is described as a Hispanic female who stands 5-feet-4-inches tall and weighs around 110 pounds. She was last seen wearing denim shorts and an orange tank top.”
If you think you may have information concerning Jalyn’s whereabouts, the Austin police ask that you call 911.
