Law Enforcement agencies are investigating the mysterious disappearance of a 30-year-old Colorado woman who vanished during a trip to Los Angeles on May 23rd.

“Jennifer Michelle Lorber, 30, checked into a Malibu motel before her rental car was discovered abandoned Sunday near the Pacific Coast Highway, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.”

Jennifer’s family reports that the last time they heard from their daughter was on Thursday night, the same day she was to have arrived in Los Angeles.

Lorber is a 2012 graduate of the University of California at Santa Barbara, so she is not unfamiliar with the area. The 30-year-old runs a successful jewelry business.

For now, Jenny’s family and friends are asking for prayers - and help in tracking her down. They say she suffers from depression, which may put her at additional risk.

“Lorber suffers from depression and her family is concerned for her wellbeing,” the sheriff’s department said in a statement.
