Some devastating news has come in this afternoon. A famous soccer player has passed away after colliding with another vehicle.
Jlloyd Samuel a former Villa soccer player died in a car crash Tuesday morning. He was only 37 years old.
He just finished up dropping his children off at school when on his way home, he collided with another vehicle, according to "BBC."
"We've received some terrible news that former national defender and ex-Aston Villa and Bolton Wanderers player Jlloyd Samuel died in a car crash this morning in England," The Trinidad and Tobago FA said on Facebook.
"Our players will wear black armbands as a mark of respect tonight [in their play-off semi-final] and our thoughts are with his friends and family at this very difficult time," the statement continued.
At approximately 7:55 BST, the Cheshire Police responded to a serious accident involving a van and a Range Rover in High Legh, Cheshire.
"Sadly the driver of the car, Jlloyd Samuel, 37, from Lymm, died at the scene," the police said in a statement. "His next of kin have been informed and are currently being supported by specially trained officers. The driver of the van, a 54-year-old man, sustained serious injuries and has been taken to hospital for treatment."
