Joy Behar from "The View" made an outlandish comment about Christians last February. Her anti-Christian remark was when the hosts were reacting to a scene from the CBS show, "Big Brother: Celebrity Edition."
After several minutes back and forth, Behar chimes in saying: "It's one thing to talk to Jesus. It's another thing when Jesus talks to you. That's called mental illness."
This month, Behar decided to apologize for her month-old comment. Vice President Mike Pence appeared on Fox News' show, "Hannity," Monday giving credit to Behar for her phone call apologizing for her comments.
“I give Joy Behar a lot of credit. She picked up the phone. She called me. She was very sincere, and she apologized and one of the things my faith teaches me is grace; forgive as you've been forgiven,” Pence told Sean Hannity.
During the interview, Pence encouraged Behar to apologize to the "tens of millions of Americans who were equally offended." She listened and obliged.
“I think Vice President Pence is right. I was raised to respect everyone’s religious faith and I fell short of that,” Behar said. I sincerely apologize for what I said."
