We were expecting it, but not today! The Duchess of Cambridge thrilled fans on Tuesday by making an announced visit to Wimbledon, in the first of what is expected to be more than one appearance.

Ever the perfect follower of etiquette, Kate even donned 'tennis white' for her debut this year.

Kate looked stunning in a long white button-down dress, accessorized with a black Alexander McQueen belt. She also sported black pumps, stylish sunglasses, and a wicker bag.

And instead of taking her place in the royal box, she decided to sit courtside with friends.

In the informal appearance, there were no other Royals in sight.

"She sat with British tennis player Katie Boulter and retired British star of the sport Anne Keothavong on day two of the championship."

“Kate Middleton watching Harriet Dart play on Court 14, an outside court open to all fans with grounds passes.”

Last year, in one of her visits to the iconic tennis tournament, she accompanied the new Duchess of Sussex as they sat together to enjoy some of the matches.

Meghan is expected to attend this year to watch BFF Serena Williams compete.

In 2018, she also stunned in bright yellow when she and hubby Prince William arrived on another day of the tournament.

We can look forward too seeing more of the Royals throughout the matches, as they make a tradition of attending multiple days.

“Duchess of Cambridge will be in the royal box later but arrived early to watch some of the outer courts like a true fan."
