When you think of the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, you may not think of her as a budding artist. Well, that is exactly what she is! Read on to learn more about Kate's hidden, artistic talent!
Before wedding Prince William and having three beautiful children with him, she was a student at the University of St. Andrews. It was there that she studied photography and fell in love with the craft!
In fact, she still a very involved photographer. InStyle writes, "The royal wrote the foreword for an upcoming National Portrait Gallery exhibition of photography called Victorian Giants: The Birth of Art Photography, and in it, she describes what she enjoyed as a young photography student, and what she thinks about childhood."
The Victorian period of art has been a long-time interest for the Duchess. "'This [Victorian] period in the history of photography has long interested me. As a student at the University of St. Andrews, I chose it as the subject of my undergraduate thesis and photographs of children in particular, which feature predominantly within the exhibition, are of real interest to me,'" Kate recollects.
