There has been some exciting news that has recently come in. Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman have made an enormous announcement leaving their fans thrilled and applauding their next move.

Country singer Keith Urban and his wife, actress Nicole Kidman got married on June 25, 2006, at Cardinal Cerretti Memorial Chapel which is on the grounds of St. Patrick's Estate in Sydney.

Last June, the couple celebrated their 12 year marriage anniversary and shared their secret to a happy marriage backstage at the 2018 CMA Music Festival. According to “Taste of Country,” the happy couple is constantly working on their marriage and fighting for one another.

"I'm a work in progress, " Urban said. "We're just like any married couple, trying to figure out what works and what doesn't work. Trying to balance work and family life is challenging for everyone, and it's no different for us."

When asked what their secret was, Urban said that they have an unwavering commitment to one another.

"We're very, very 'in it' as a couple: very awake, very present and very in love," he said. "When it does go out of balance, we fix it quickly. We do whatever we've got to do. We travel, we do whatever it takes to not be apart."

The handsome couple had their first daughter in 2008 in Nashville and their second daughter via surrogacy at the Nashville's Centennial Women's Hospital.

The Announcement

The couple has recently made an announcement via a video message on "Today's" Farm Aid Telethon. The couple was unable to attend due to Urban's music tour, but they both sat down to share the news. The news is leaving fans and people in need grateful.

"We wish we could be with you today, but I'm on tour, but it is very important for us to be a part of this today and do our bit for the farmers," Urban said.

"We love Australia, and we realize that there's been a crippling drought crisis and the rural communities are doing it really, really hard right now, so we want to do our bit," he continued.

"We would like to donate $100,000 to the Farm Aid Telethon, and we're asking anybody else out there that would like to give anything, this is the way in which you can give," Urban said.

Kidman grew up in Sydney and admits she still is a country girl at heart, and Urban grew up in New Zealand.
