Update: Mystery Surrounding Thanksgiving Day Disappearance Of Colorado Mom Leaves Police Baffled. Family Desperate For Answers And Asking For Prayers

December 10, 2018

As the days and weeks begin to add up since the mysterious disappearance of a 29-year-old flight instructor from Colorado, authorities are left puzzled by certain key pieces of evidence.

Kelsey Berreth was last seen on Thanksgiving day at the local Safeway grocery store in Woodland Park. The family was expecting her to return after the shopping trip but, instead, there was nothing.

It has not been reported if Berreth was planning to go out of town for the Holiday, but the fact that family members did not report her missing until December 2nd indicates that they did not find it unusual for her to be gone so long with no word.

Police have very few clues as to what might have happened to the woman, but did say that Berreth’s phone was used a few days after Thanksgiving outside Gooding, Idaho — close to where she has family.”

Details oaths troubling case are sketchy, but the biggest red flag that foul play may be involved is that she has an infant daughter. Family and friends say she would never have just left her daughter without a word as to when she would return.

Kelsey’s family has set up a Facebook page for sharing updates and vital information about the missing mom. Seemingly eliminating many of the logical conclusions that people have been speculating about.

On December 6, 2018, the page added, “Kelsey is a pilot. Although it would be out of character for her to not contact anyone before making a cross-country trip we can’t exclude the possibility. Kelsey has ties to the Pacific Northwest as well as Kansas.

She does not own a plane nor do we know of any local friends that she would borrow one from. I don’t believe she has ever made a flight without filing a flight plan. We do realize that it is possible to rent a plane, but I believe someone would be missing it by now. None-the-less we have to consider every possibility.”

We can only imagine the agony Kelsey’s family is going through as they await any word on the whereabouts of their beloved daughter, mother, sister. Please join us in praying that they find some answers…soon!
