After nearly a month-long investigation, an arrest has been made in the suspicious disappearance of a 29-year-old Colorado woman. Kelsey Berreth went missing on Thanksgiving Day and her disappearance was reported on December 3rd. No sightings were confirmed during the entire time.
Now, after an extensive search of fiancé Patrick Frazee’s property and the culmination of countless leads and evidence, the 32-year old father of Kelsey’s baby girl has been arrested.
Fox News is reporting, “Police investigating the Thanksgiving disappearance of 29-year-old Colorado mother Kelsey Berreth have arrested the woman’s fiancé, a sheriff's officials said Friday.
“Teller County sheriff's Cmdr. Greg Couch confirmed Patrick Frazee was arrested Friday morning in Woodland Park, Colorado."
According to KOAA, “Court documents show Frazee has been charged with first-degree murder and is being held without bond.”
29-year-old Colorado mom Kelsey Berreth has been missing since Thanksgiving day, and no one has heard from her since. She was last seen on video surveillance in a neighborhood grocery store on the day of her disappearance. If there are clues in that video, police aren’t saying.
In the last few days, police zeroed in on Kelsey’s fiancé, 32-year-old Patrick Frazee, conducting an extensive search of his Colorado property that involved over 70 officers. A backhoe was used to excavate the property, but authorities aren’t saying what they found.
Now, perhaps the most damning information seems to indicate that Frazee is more than a grieving fiancé. Reports came out Thursday that Frazee was seen at a dump shortly after Kelsey went missing and he was disposing of items that the police now have in their possession.
On Wednesday, Woodland Park police said, “Investigators continue to make steady progress with multiple investigative leads in this case.”
Apparently, that progress culminated in the arrest of Frazee. There was a news conference scheduled for Friday.
Please continue praying for Kelsey's family, especially her baby girl who is now without both father and mother.
