Devastating news has recently come in. A famous musician's ex-wife was found dead inside her home.
At this time, we would like to take a minute to ask our readers to keep the family, especially the children, in your thoughts and prayers.
On Thursday, November 15, rapper Diddy's ex-girlfriend Kim Porter, model and actress who dated Diddy for 13 years, was found dead inside her L.A. home, "TMZ" reports. She was 47 years old.
According to emergency dispatch audio obtained by "TMZ," the call came in around noon from Porter's Toluca Lake home. Sources said that Porter had been suffering from flu-like symptoms and had possibly pneumonia for several weeks.
Another source close to the model said that she just called her doctor the day before complaining that she wasn't getting any better. Her cause of death has not yet been released.
"TMZ" says that no illegal drugs were found in her home.
Diddy and Porter have three children together: twin girls, Jessie James and D'Lila, 11, and a son named Christian, 20. Porter has another son named Quincy from her relationship with R&B record producer Al B.
Porter and Diddy, 49, met when he was an R&B executive at Uptown Records and they began dating in 1994. After their breakup, the two vowed to stay civil for their children, and because they were still friends.
You know how when two people go their separate ways, most of the time there’s animosity? It’s not like that with us,” she said. “Sean and I have this bond, this friendship. It’s not about ‘if you’re faithful to me, if I’m being faithful to you.’ We’re friends. I’m the person he can tell his innermost thoughts to, and he’s that person for me. He still calls me every day and we talk.”
Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers.
