Kirsten Dunst welcomed her first child, a son, with fiance Jesse Plemons this weekend.
The couple are now new parents to “a healthy baby boy” and “everyone is doing great,” according to sources.
The birth of their new son comes just four months after Dunst confirmed her pregnancy in January.
Dunst and Plemons, 30, met on the set of the FX series Fargo, where they played a married couple. Their engagement became known after Dunst was spotted with what looked like an engagement ring at the 2017 Golden Globe Awards.
Starting a family is something the actress has been wanting to do for some time now. “I’m at a stage in my life where I’m like, “I’ve been working since I was 3. It’s time to have babies and chill,” she said last year.
“I wasn’t one of those, ‘I need a baby!’ people until my goddaughter was born. I love her so much. That love is just like… you can’t experience that unless you have a kid.”
Along with having her first child, Dunst has been busy planning her wedding.
“It’s really fun, and because we create it together from the beginning, it’s a really nice thing to do together,” she said. “It's going to be so personal and fun. We're having a really good time.”
