April 05, 2018

Police in San Jose, California are searching for a man who broke into his parents home and stole two guns. He left behind a 20-page manifesto stating that he plans on killing people in San Francisco.

The family told police that they just came back from a trip to find out that their estranged son, Dustin Hamilton, broke into their home and stole a shotgun and a .357 Magnum revolver.

The family said that their son's note stated that he plans to travel to San Francisco to kill as many people as he can, including law enforcement.

The 20-page manifesto was in a binder sitting on their kitchen table. Hamilton has recently said that he "hates" the San Francisco police.

Hamilton was diagnosed with schizophrenia and was allegedly off his medication. Police say that he tends to frequent the areas of Bryant and Delancy streets in San Francisco.

At this time the San Jose Police Department and the San Francisco Police Department are actively working on finding the suspect. The departments have acquired a felony arrest warrant for Hamilton for threats, burglary, and firearms possession.

Hamilton currently has two outstanding felony warrants for assault and vandalism.
