Beloved Disney Star Gets Second Chance At Happiness - Surprises Family And Friends With Intimate Backyard Wedding

November 19, 2018

The couple had been engaged for more than a year, so no one should have been surprised that a wedding would happen at some point in time - soon. But this superstar and her fiancé managed to surprise nearly everyone when they said their ‘I dos’ with so little notice.

Bearing very little resemblance to what you might expect a celebrity’s nuptials to be like, this couple decided to go in the opposite extreme with an intimate get-together with only about 50 family and friends. And the venue was in the bride’s own backyard!

But it’s the bride’s choice of wedding dresses that has everyone talking. And once you get a look at it, you'll definitely understand why.

Eonline reports that Mandy Moore, the ‘Tangled’ star "married Dawes musician Taylor Goldsmith in front of family and close friends Sunday afternoon in Los Angeles.”

Decor for the wedding was all pink and frilly. Even her gown gave off the air of distinction.

“According to the insider, the look of the wedding was "very boho," which included "rugs on the floor surrounding the altar. The flower arrangements were beautiful with lots of large feathers."

According to People, the ceremony was exactly what she had hoped for. “We are both pretty quiet, private people,” she said. “I never imagined myself with some beautiful dress in front of 300 people. It will be quiet and private — just for us.”

Moore went on to describe what she feels makes her relationship with the ‘Dawes’ singer so special. “I feel incredibly understood and supported. I feel incredibly lucky to have somebody who is like, ‘I got your back.’ I found the right person and I feel like we can handle anything together.” This is Moore’s second marriage.
