Since their big wedding day last May, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle seem to have kept busy. There also appears to be no hold up in the amount of news the two are gaining as well.
Last July, the royal couple was seen happily enjoying each others company at a polo charity match. Harry was playing with his team at the Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club for an amazing cause.
The event was held to spread awareness for Sentebale, which is a foundation to help children affected by HIV in Lesotho and Botswana. Prince Harry and Prince Seeiso of Lesotho developed this charity in 2006.
While there have been plenty of good experiences Harry and Meghan have shared together as husband and wife; sadly, there have been some difficult times. Fortunately, the recent announcement has brought smiles across thousands of faces.
Meghan has had the unfortunate privilege of dealing with her family. Moreso in particular, her father. Thomas Markle's staged paparazzi photos was the biggest scandal earlier this year. He also did an interview with Pierce Morgan on Good Morning, Britain discussing personal topics about his daughter and his son-in-law.
On a more recent note, Meghan has shared a childhood fantasy, and the fans are overjoyed with the revelation. Most people are aware that the Duchess of Sussex had a lifestyle blog called, The Tig. Here she shared her dreams and passions with her fans prior to her marriage to Harry. The site has since been defunct.
However, PEOPLE was able to reveal Meghan's childhood fantasies, and there is some foreshadowing involved. Quite a bit, as a matter of fact.
Like most young girls, Meghan wanted to become a princess. Unbeknownst at the time, she was going to be apart of the British royal family.
“Little girls dream of being princesses. I, for one, was all about She-Ra, Princess of Power,” Meghan wrote in an introduction to an interview with Princess Alia Al-Senussi. Later she admitted that she "had a bit of a 'pinch-myself-I'm-emailing-with-a-princess' moment" before she spoke with the banished Libyan royal and philanthropic in 2014.
Within her blog, she amazingly wrote about her future sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, and future brother-in-law, Prince William. Meghan even wrote about their glamorous, royal wedding.
“Grown women seem to retain this childhood fantasy. Just look at the pomp and circumstance surrounding the royal wedding and endless conversation about Princess Kate.”
About four years went by, now Meghan was at the center of the royal frenzy. Her wildest fantasy came true when she married into the royal family with Prince Harry.
The Tig blog started in 2014, and it was originally "dedicated to the love of travel, food, fashion and beauty." Meghan decided to shut down the site in April 2017. Shortly after, she was engaged to Harry, and she soon was well on her way to enjoy her princess fantasy journey.
