2-year-old Khaleesi has been found safe and unharmed, according to the Peoria Police. Luis, the suspect, is now in custody. There are no further updates at this time.
Some terrifying news has crossed the newsroom this morning after a man had abducted a two-year-old girl from her home.
On Monday, May 7, the Peoria, Arizona police have issued a statewide Amber Alert for a two-year-old girl who was taken from her home by a 32-year-old man, according to “Arizona15.”
2-year-old Khaleesi Morales was taken by Luis Morales after he entered the home near Lake Pleasant Road and Beardsley Road at around 6 a.m.
According to police, Luis is reportedly the defendant on a Protection Order to have no contact with the child or the child's mother. The reason for the order was not provided.
Monday morning, Luis went to the house, broke the screen to the window, and opened a window. When he was inside, he stepped on his son's hand and assaulted the mother.
Police say that Luis stole the mother's vehicle and is traveling southbound on Lake Pleasant Road. He is driving a 2016 silver Toyota Camry with the license plates "CBS3780."
Khaleesi is described as a Hispanic child wearing a pink long-sleeved top, with pink ruffled shorts, and could have a pull-up on.
Luis is described as a Hispanic man at 5 feet, 10 inches, and weighing about 190 pounds. He was seen wearing a green t-shirt that had money signs on it and wearing shorts.
He has multiple tattoos: one is behind his left ear with a money emblem, "Est. 1987" on his stomach, a triangle and an eye of Mary Jane on his neck, and the names of "Khaleesi, Lucito, Dannie" on his upper arm.
