According to the Deschutes County sheriff, a missing 1-year-old boy has been found safe by a detective in the search area south of Bend, Oregon.
Further details have not yet been made available.
Bradley Michael Thomas went missing early Thursday morning in Bend.
The boy was described as a white male with blonde hair and brown eyes, possibly wearing a green onesie and a blue blanket.
The sheriff released a photo of the child and a vehicle associated with the family in order to help out in the search. Police say that the photo of the vehicle was shared “just to hopefully job people’s memory” of the boy and his parents.
Searchers used K-9 units to aid in their search for the boy, thanked the community for their help but warned searchers to stay away from direct contact with the search area so that they do not disturb scent and dirt tracks.
At 11:30 a.m., the sheriff’s office sent out a short announcement that the boy was found safe and sound by detective Doug Jackson.
Stay tuned for further updates as they are released.
