Monopoly Disney Edition is the Perfect Gift for the Disney-Lover in Your Life

November 02, 2017

Monopoly is a family game night classic. It seems like everyone has their own Monopoly-related story (usually having to do with family rifts). We love to hate on the game, but we also just love it. Monopoly has released all sorts of different editions—in fact, they have hundreds of different editions. There is a FedEx Edition, a Juicy Couture Edition, a Smurfs Edition, among many others. Check out the full list of Monopoly editions here.

One edition of Monopoly has recently taken the Internet by storm: Disney Classic Monopoly. Okay, yes, it’s been out for a while, but it recently started getting a lot more attention online.

Monopoly actually has several different Disney editions. There is a Disney Channel Junior Edition, a Disney Pixar Edition, a Disney Princess Edition, a Disney Princess Junior Edition, a Disney Theme Parks Edition, and a Disney Villains Edition. Of course, there are also dozens of Monopoly editions based on individual Disney movies.

This Disney monopoly game, though, takes the best of the best Disney movies. It is based on many of the classic Disney movies, like “Snow White”, “Cinderella”, “Aladdin”, and “Bambi.”

The game pieces for this games include Cinderella’s glass slipper, the Genie’s lamp from Aladdin, and the apple from Snow White. Even the houses are transformed into cottages and castles for this edition.

In the traditional Monopoly games, there are the Chance and Community Chest cards that players draw from. Of course, the names for those have to change for this edition! For Disney, they’re Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo cards and Bear Necessities cards.

All of the artwork for the cards and the board have changed entirely for this edition of Monopoly, but the rules are still the same Monopoly you’ve been playing for years. This game would make an amazing Christmas gift for any Disney lover in your family. Check it out on Amazon here.

In other news, there was recently a huge dishwasher recall. Check here to see if yours is at risk.
