Nicolas Cage has decided that his acting career has come to an end, according to "The Blast." He will continue his acting career for only a few short years and then transition into another Hollywood role.
“Directing is something I look forward to down the road,” he said. “Right now, I’m primarily a film performer, and I’m gonna continue doing that for three or four more years, and I’d like to focus more on directing.”
Cage is currently working on a film called "Primal," which is located in Puerto Rico and should be released on October 23, 2018.
Many fans are a little unsure and a little upset about the fact that they won't be seeing the "National Treasure" star on the big screen in several years. It's a hard pill to swallow for some.
Cage has over 90 acting credits to his name. Most people know him from his starring roles in "Face Off," "Next," Ghost Rider," and "Gone in 60 Seconds."
