It comes with great sadness to inform our readers of a death close to home for the British royal family. Many are wondering how Queen Elizabeth and the rest of the monarchy are feeling.
While the year of 2018 has been a happy and joyous year, the British family has now a death to deal with. Earlier this year, the family was able to enjoy a birth and a wedding, among many other beautiful things.
Sadly, the family must take a horrific death on. One of their close acquaintances has passed away. The British family must stick together as they go through this hard time.
The fatal incident news was released on Thursday, August 16. When emergency personnel arrived, they pronounced the man dead on the scene. Police say that there were witnesses of the incident.
We are asking our readers to keep the royal family in your prayers as they go through such a tragic time.
On Wednesday, August 15, Peter Fisher, Queen Elizabeth's physician of 15 years, collided with a truck. He was 67 years old and was loved by many.
Fisher was cycling on the road through London in the High Holborn area on Wednesday when the fatal incident happened. Police informed the Queen that he had died on the scene.
“We are all deeply shocked and saddened to learn that Dr. Peter Fisher tragically died in a road traffic accident yesterday,” Gill Gaskin, medical director at University College London Hospitals (UCLH), said in a statement.
“Peter was director of research at UCLH’s Royal London Hospital for Integrated Medicine (RLHIM), and physician to Her Majesty The Queen," he continued.
According to Reuters, Fisher worked as a homeopathic physician to the British family for 15 years, and was a world expert in homeopathy.
“He was much respected as a good doctor who saw homeopathy as complementary to medical care. We are all shocked by his tragic loss,” Marcus Setchell, the queen’s former surgeon-gynecologist, said.
