According to police and local news channel "FOX29," an investigation is underway after a teenage student was shot in Philadelphia's Logan neighborhood.
Shortly after 8:15 a.m., the victim was shot on the 1600 block of West Olney Avenue. The 17-year-old girl ran to a nearby high school, Central High School, to ask for help. She was then transported to Albert Einstein Medical Center where she was listed in stable condition, according to reports.
Central High School, Widener Memorial School, and Philadelphia High School were placed on lockdown following the incident. The lockdown has since been lifted, according to "FOX29."
