Out of everyone in the royal family, it seems like Prince Harry is the most popular. Though he went through a rough patch in his younger days, he has effectively charmed the world into loving him.
He and his fiancee, Meghan Markle, recently headed to Scotland for an official visit to the country. While there, Prince Harry finally met someone who isn’t charmed by his good looks and attractive smile: a horse.
When the two touched down in Scotland, they were greeted with crowds of people. They were also greeted by Corporal Cruachan IV, the Shetland pony who serves as the mascot of the Royal Regiment of Scotland.
As Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were being greeted by the officer, Prince Harry reached out to Corporal Cruachan IV. As he did, though, the pony reached out and tried to snap at Prince Harry’s hand.
He continued to try to pet the pony, but each time he got close, the horse snapped at his hand. Once, Prince Harry even withdrew his hand and said “Hey” as the pony got a little too close for comfort.
After exchanging a few words with the representative and the mascot, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle moved on to their planned engagements. They visited Edinburgh Castle, stopped by a cafe that employs homeless people, and ended their time at a reception to celebrate youth achievement at Holyroodhouse, the royal estate in Scotland.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will be getting married on May 19. In the meantime, they will continue to attend royal engagements together.
