Last Saturday, Princess Charlotte took a frightful spill while on the Buckingham Palace balcony. A likely hero was there to save precious Charlotte, even in the aftermath of it all when she began to cry.
The Royal family appeared on the palace balcony for one of the most exciting events of the year. Queen Elizabeth II marked her official birthday with the special Trooping the Colour event at Whitehall's Horse Guards Parade.
While looking over the balcony's ledge, and bopping around on her stool, the sweet 3-year-old lost her balance. The scary incident would frighten any young child, let alone an adult, especially when being so high up from the ground.
When Charlotte started to fall backward, she reached for the ledge only to miss. Thankfully, her hero stepped in to save the day.
Her mother, Kate Middleton.
After Kate was able to catch her daughter, Charlotte quickly realized her frightful encounter with the cement floor of the balcony and broke out in tears.
Princess Charlotte was visibly shaken up. The nurturing mother picked up her daughter and snuggled her close to calm her down, according to sources.
