Question of the Day: 1 in 3 Americans Would Give up This for a 10% Raise. What Is It?

April 18, 2018

There are people that would give up a lot for a 10 percent raise. Some have said that they would give up their lunch break, vacation time, and one would even go as far as giving up coffee. The latter seems a bit extreme.

According to the United State Census Bureau, the average income for 2016 was $57,617. With a 10 percent raise, this would jump to over $63,000. I can see why many people would give up their right arm for this.

A recent survey has surfaced the Internet that has gotten people all riled up — commenting the most bizarre stuff.

According to a recent survey, 1 in 3 Americans says they would give up THIS for a 10% raise. What is it?

Maggy Johnson said that she would give up her in-laws. Can you relate?

Geoffrey Trent said that he would be happy to give up his cell phone for the considerable raise.

Tiffany Mitchell, and among other crazy people, said that she would give up coffee.

Michael Schukar said he would give up all forms of technology. To some, this might be a crazy move as well.

Paige Giles said that she would be happy to give up her soul.

Several others would give up their weekends, which just like coffee, seems a bit over the top. I don't know about you, but I need my weekends. God bless the people out there working six or seven day work weeks. You rock!
