When I first caught sight of the ‘Breaking News,’ that Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg had been ‘spotted’ in public for the first time since her December cancer surgery, I breathed a sigh of relief - along with about 300 million other Americans. Finally, proof that Ms. Ginsburg is alive and well - contrary to rampant suspicion to the contrary.
"Congratulations to Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who is apparently feeling much better."
But then, I continued reading and suddenly lost that good feeling. On the surface, the news is good. But if you dig a little deeper, you'll see all is not as it seems.
According to AP News, "Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is making her first public appearance since undergoing lung cancer surgery in December.
"The 85-year-old Ginsburg is attending a concert at a museum a few blocks from the White House that is being given by her daughter-in-law and other musicians. Patrice Michaels is married to Ginsburg’s son, James. Michaels is a soprano and composer.
"The concert is dedicated to Ginsburg’s life in the law."
Social media users and influencers aren’t buying it.
"MYSTERY: No pictures from Ruth Bader Ginsburg 'public appearance'?"
If she was there, how come no one has a photo of her before, during, or after the performance? Seems natural that every member of the press worth his/her salt would be there to commemorate Ruth's triumphant return to the land of the living. But, nope!
Then we are given an explanation.
Perhaps in an attempt to keep intelligent members of the public from asking those pesky questions, an excuse for her seemingly ‘invisible’ appearance was circulated.
According to AP News, “The justice sat in the back of the darkened auditorium at the National Museum of Women in the Arts.”
Of course, she did. After all, she was the guest of honor and it was members of her own family who composed the music. Seems logical to me!!
And then this:
“The National Constitution Center, which sponsored the concert, did not permit photography.” How convenient!!
"I can’t find any pics of this 'spotting' for some reason..."
“I guess whoever had ‘February 5 in a Photoshopped pic’ won the Ruth Bader Ginsburg Sweepstakes. Congrats.”
Where are you old girl....drop a Tweet. ⚡️ “Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg spotted in public for the first time since cancer surgery”
"Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg spotted in public for the first time since cancer surgery" WHERE … Is The Picture or Video WHERE 🇺🇸⁉️
The Daily Beast rushed out there to shame conspiracy theorists who claim the 85-year-old Ginsburg is not in the great health she is purported to be in, with a brash headline:
“Daily Beast article: Ruth Bader Ginsburg Shuts Up Conspiracy Theorists by Making First Appearance Since Cancer Surgery!
“Anon reply: Don’t think so!!”No one is fooled, apparently, and it’s about time someone fesses up to what’s REALLY going on with the ailing Supreme Court Justice. Don’t you agree?
“What's up with the Fake News pretending that RBG is alive and well? Q said she was dead and Q knows all.”
“Ruth Bader Ginsburg makes public appearance sitting back during a concert, first since surgery...Hmmm I can understand why no one took a picture... “
And it goes on and on. But who could blame anyone for wondering? With so much secrecy and so much skepticism, isn’t it about time we have “proof of life” where Ms. Ginsberg is concerned?
Of course, that would get in the way of there Dems’ desperate attempt to make sure President Trump doesn’t get a chance to appoint a second Supreme Court Justice during this term. Just keep RBG ‘alive’ long enough to claim he can’t appoint one now because it’s an election year.
“Washington examiner uses old picture of Ruth in their article today. Twitter is blocking the source of this picture....go figure.“
Trump needs to take action NOW! Surely he can request a visit with Ruth, don't you think?
